Tresham Motors is committed to increasing road safety and reducing CO2 emissions. Look below for easy steps on how you can make sure your vehicle is safe and ways to reduce CO2 emission.

Tyres
Make sure tyres have the
right pressure. Under-
inflated tyres increase
CO2 emission and fuel
consumption whilst over
inflated tyres can be unsafe.
Excessive weight
Remove excessive
weight from vehicles.
More weight will burn
more fuel and increase
CO2 emissions.
Reduce Revs
Reduce revs! Change
gear when vehicle rev
reach 2000rpm for diesel
cars and 2500rpm for
petrol cars.
Engine off
Turn off your engines
if you are going to be
stationary for more than
3 minutes.
Clean fuel & oil
Ensure the fuel and oil
systems are clean, this
will make the engine
more efficient and use
less fuel and lower
emissions.
